The Farm holiday complex Le Capanne is situated on a hilltop (336 metresabove sea level) in Valle di Chio in a panoramic position,between olive groves and century-old oaks. It is located in a quiet and secluded area where a supermarket, a café and a restaurant can easily be reached (about1 km).

There is a swimming pool for guests only and a large living room which gives the possibility to rent the whole complex as a single villa.

The surrounding area is full of walking paths,ideal for trekking and mountainbiking.

The complex is part of an old farmhouse of about 100 hectareswich has been run by the same familiy for several generations. The farm is GROWING ORGANIC and produces Tuscan IGP label extra vergin oil, Tuscan IGP label wine,DOP Valdichiana Vin Santo,wich can all be tasted during the visit of the farm and wine cellar. Moreover it is possible to taste seasonal fruit and vegetables from the farm,picking them directly off the trees when they are ripened.

The complex gives the opportunity to take part in the grape and olive harvests.

Local guided tours of typical products and crafts are available on request aswell as cooking,painting and italian language lessons.
